I took a group of friends to see him at the Chiles Center about 5 years ago. Love & happiness, served on a big bed of soul. That cat is a class act!

Didn't an angry wife/significant other throw a pan of hot grits on poor Al's back 25 years ago? I never read what the provocation was, but it must have been big.
