Cosi fan tutti

It's hard to beat Portland local government for comedy, but as usual our rival to the north gives us a run for our money.

You don't have to go to Seattle.
Just NW of Portland the city of St. Helens, OR, according to the Trib, wants to pay $250,000.00 for a 40 year old "pirate ship" made from fero-cement to grace the downtown harbor side to attract tourists and host the "pirate party".
This (probably) rotting scow would have to be barged from the delta area of San Francisco Bay as she can't be trusted to arrive "on her own bottom", as the old salts say.
The street cars and tram may arrive soon.
