Coulda fooled me

Portland city commissioner Dan "Legend" Saltzman says that in between soccer matches, he's "constantly working to overcome" residents' fears of the city's police.

By doing what? Getting a police baton and asking residents to squeal like a pig?

Nah...he's painting targets on the backs of mentally disturbed individuals so the cops will improve their accuracy at target practices.

Without naming names, Saltzman says he favors picking a new chief from inside the bureau (as was the case with Sizer and her predecessor, Derrick Foxworth ) rather than hiring an outsider.

Lather, rinse, repeat....

Be interesting to have a question on the census asking people if they fear the police.
