He sounds like a delightful old fellow, but his math is likely wrong as he's starting from the premise that Jesus was crucified on April 1, 33, which was a Wednesday.
I later worked out that he converted his date for the crucifixion from the Julian to the Gregorian calendar; it was Friday, April 3 in the calendar of the time but would have been Friday, April 1 in the calendar of today. He's still one day off, however; we have until May 22, 2011 before the full 722,500 days will have elapsed.
