Lone 'dog survives
The Chargers found a way to lose today, this year to the upstart New York Jets. In our charity pro football underdog pool, only Sidney picks up points this week -- his first points of the season. Here are the standings going into the last two games next Sunday:
Gordon - 43
genop's mom - 40
Hank - 36.5
Bad Brad - 36
Rick - 33.5
Doug - 31.5
George - 31
genop - 24.5
Michael W. - 24
Annie - 23
Andy - 21
Robert - 20
jmh - 18.5
Kevin - 16.5
Dan - 15
Michael K. - 12
Gary - 10.5
Sidney - 7
Flynn - 0
Some things will be decided when the lines are posted on Tuesday or Wednesday, and since there are only two games next time, the pool may be decided before kickoff. We'll run through the scenarios when we post the points for the final games.

No matter what happens next week, I’ve had a blast playing along with this wonderful group. Thanks Jack for making this NFL season so memorable.

Megadittos. Thanks for administering this, it's been a fair amount of work.

I've got to admit, I had fallen out of the habit of watching pro football until the underdog pool came along, invented by my friend TRP. Great game, and it really keeps you watching and rooting. Cheap thrills, even when you're out of the money, as I clearly am this year having picked just two winners out of 19 weeks.

Does this mean I am in the lead?

Loved the pool! It truly revitalized the NFL season for me. I look forward to (I hope) playing for a full season next time.

I just hope Genop's Mom fails her drug test and I can maybe sneak into third place. You are drug testing the winners Jack, right? Many thanks for organizing this contest; it's been a lot of fun.
