Keep Portland flat
The maps for three of this summer's Sunday Parkways events in Portland have been released. They've taken Mount Tabor and the Alameda Ridge off the routes, but the Northeast event is going to swing all the way up to Woodlawn Park.

Hmm, I volunteered at the Mt. Tabor booth last year and was surprised at how many people (especially, how many families) made the climb. I had expected it to be less populated than it was. OTOH, a few of the vendors who were supposed to show up didn't, and there were a couple of logistical issues with equipment delivery.

Yay! Woodlawn is my neighborhood park! It's a beautiful little park with a paved perimeter path, spray fountain, ball field, lots of picnic tables, and a cool little ampitheatre.
