Rate-a-Nate, Round 2

It's time for another checkup of Blazer fan sentiment toward head coach Nate McMillan. When we last conducted this poll, October 31 to November 8, Nate garnered a vote of only 5.4 out of 10, with 185 votes cast. Since then, his team has had some ups and downs, mostly downs lately, and so we're interested in what fans are thinking now:

On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the best and 1 being the worst), how well is Nate McMillan performing this year as the coach of the Trail Blazers?

UPDATE, 2:17 p.m.: With the first 47 votes counted, it's clear that Nate's performance rating has fallen. He's at 4.6.

UPDATE, 12/5, 12:29 p.m.: We've got 116 votes in hand and Nate's up to a 5.0. We'll keep a running score going in our left sidebar.

Tough day for Nate today. He ruptured his achilles tendon at practice and will miss next weeks road trip back east. He will coach tomorrow's game, but then will have surgery Monday am. Lead asst Dean Demopolis (sp?) will be the head coach on the trip.

Ouch.
That reminds me: The NBA's achilles heel will be on "60 Minutes" Sunday. Tim Donaghy, the Disgraced Referee, is starting to sing, and word on the streets is that the NBA Commissioner won't like the tune.
Tim is blaming the Gambino Crime Family, but he has lots more. Let's just say when it's over, some other NBA refs are going to be taking a little survey called, "Rate-A-Rat."

Near as I can tell, I like Nate. But it appears that he is overmatched in this job. As all head coaches sooner or later are. In Nate's case, sooner.
