OK so a $20 million sale fell through.
And the ony thing left to do was a closed bid fire sale?
That sure sounds like our own Port of Portland.
Why could the city put up a for sale sign with an asking price of say $5 million?
1/4 of the earlier $20 million.

About the right price. I read that you can buy a 3br house in Detroit for $1,000.

This gives me great comfort as to the value of PGE park after put about $50M in rehabs into it - After MLS dies.

So, what are the new owners going to do with it? A Costco? a Casino?

Well, assuming 10 games a year, each game cost the good citizens of Pontiac about $160,000 a game. I hope they think they got their money's worth.
