MTV still exists? Do they still play that clip of Stevie Ray Vaughan pwning Jeff Beck while both are playing Freddie King's "I'm Goin' Down" at the UCP Arena?
Good times before the Real World turned MTV into Reality Television.

MTV is interesting if you look at their evolution. THey used to be all about the music, now its all about the Benjamins.
I don't remember the last time someone played a music video on MTV, they seem to show the same 4 dramas (that maybe enoblign them a bit too much) about 20x per week.

They used to be all about the music?!? A channel devoted to playing but nothing but advertising videos was "all about the music?"

Your headline reminded me of something my dad said in the early 1960s: “If the communists were threatening us all over the world and they are as tough as people say, they really do have a better system and we should switch.”
