errr, he was one column to the left of the noble gases (the last column in the table, the ones with the filled outer electron shells).

ditto -- he's one electron short of a full shell.
In another critique, the most influential element, (I met him, to prove he's not imaginary, and very few do), in the entire organization, from Day 1, is not in the chart: J Isaacs!

My chemistry-student daughter says that elements in the same column have similar characteristics. And that the elements in the far left column are more volatile (my summary of her much more scientific description) than the others. So why is Drexler in that same far left column with JR Rider?
