I believe that Uncle Cliffy was kept below the rim with the NJ Nets. I think he was something like 40-41 years aged.

When he left, he started pulling a Rasheed. Being in deathly fear of contact under the basket, he started floating outside and trying to can a lot of 3 pointers.

One other thing, Oakley being dunkless surprised me, he camped out under the basket for rebounds and enforcing.

My memory must be failing. I thought Oakley once shattered a backboard with a dunk.

I don't think they're saying that he never dunked, I think they're saying that there were three seasons during his lengthy career that he didn't dunk.
