Beaverton loads up cart, looks for horse

The latest on the Paulson baseball stadium quest: The City of Beaverton has ruled out four sites, including two owned by the Biggi family. And they don't have an alternate site on the drawing boards. But hey, they've got a preliminary agreement with His Lordship Henry III that they're hot to sign. Linchpin City!

More like: Beaverton has entered into negotiations to buy a horse and lease it back to Paulson for half what it costs the taxpayers. This publicly subsidized horse (which hasn't been identified yet) is having a custom built cart prepared to his precise exteior dimensions, which remain unknown. All competing horse/cart contracts with the City of Beaverton are hereby declared null and void.

The City of Portlnd has a horse/cart combo that does everything Beaverton wants, but they are going to melt it into glue to help PPS make their art budgets last longer. It's for the Children!
