Today is the seventh birthday of this blog. A word of appreciation is in order for all our readers, especially those who leave their thoughtful comments. Special thanks are also due to our advertisers, who help defray our expenses in renting and maintaining the server on which this blog resides. It's been quite a ride, and we look forward to keeping our pedal to the metal.

So...where do we send the wine and groupies?

H.P. Bojack, and many more!

Well done, Jack. Blogging is actually harder than it looks.

Jack, I'm grateful to you for doing this.
I think it's noble and I know it's fun. And once they destroy the freedom of the Internet, we'll all look back on this era as the Glory Days of Blogging.

Thank you, Jack, for keeping the blog topics interesting, the dialog civil, the feet to the fire, and the doors open!

Congratulations!!!!
Thanks for permitting me to say my 2ยข

Jack, thank you for all your blogging! I've enjoyed it for a few years now, and I must say I've learned so much about local politics that during this last election, I was explaining to friends about candidates and issues, etc. With the demise of our local news media (print or otherwise), you are a very important part of our community. Keep it up!

Thanks for giving me a safe and relevant outlet for my rants the past few years!
Keep up the outstanding work.

Jack, I also thank you for being a forum that really affects our region and city. I know that it does because it has changed the politics of a few of those in a few of our political bodies. Not much, but without this blog there would be much less change, or even a discussion. Thanks.

Thanks Jack. May the day come when your posts will be about fun things not stupid political maneuvers.

Yours truly,

Lucifer's Advocate

And thanks especially for all the creativity, too, Jack.
