Thanks, Jack - I didn't realize he had just passed away. I loved his version of "Blackbird," and apparently so did Sir Paul.

Kenny Rankin, who was one my my best friends passed away on Sunday June 7, 2009. We in Indonesia, his Fans, Java Jazz Festival and I personally mourn the passing away of this Legend. Tears were in my eyes, when I spoke to Kenny last, around 3 (three) weeks ago. I am lucky to have recorded Kenny in a private event, a Video that was never released.
