Now make it 'Melo

Chauncey Billups has turned the Denver Nuggets into a real championship contender. They're grinding the Dallas Mavericks down. Whoever wins the Lakers-Rockets series is going to have its hands quite full.

One thing I can't get over is how relaxed and happy Carmelo Anthony looks out there. You talk about being in your prime.

JR Smith is a 3-point-shooting beast.

I am done with calling series and all the usual speculation. These are 7 game series where one injury to a key starter or bench player can change the whole dynamic. Furthermore, adjustments are made after each game making the speculation just more meaningless.

The way it looks now, Denver is peaking at the right time, the Cavaliers may go to the NBA Finals untested, and the Lakers if they make it to the NBA Finals will have gone through two tough, tested teams.

That is all I am speculating at this point. Speculating whether a team will win it in 4, 5, 6, or 7 games is just too damn speculative. Adjustments baby, adjustments.'

J.R. Smith should be serving a 15+ year prison sentence for negligent homicide after the June 9, 2007 crash that killed his friend, Andre Bell.

This after he crashed a car with Carmelo Anthony in it.

Just shows you that having money and an incredible sports talent will allow you to get away with murder after a lengthy record of speeding and crashing SUVs.

J.R. Smith is a murdering punk.
