Earthquake news you can use
Forget L.A. -- did you know there was a quake in close-in Southeast Portland a week ago Sunday night? Me neither.
WW says it was a 2.6 in Ladd's Addition, but this more official-looking site is pegging it at a 1.9, just north of Ladd's. The coordinates given by the latter source place the epicenter here, roughly a block north of the Barley Mill Pub, at 11:27:53 p.m. on Sunday the 10th.

I predicted in February that only an earthquake could save Adams' ass.
As the whole circle of informed and interested citizens perch intently for the worm in the AG's report, I have to say I have uneasy thoughts about a natural disaster intervening in the unfolding of the picture.
After the OJ verdict, then the 2000 supreme court "decision" (flagrant democracy pillage), then Bush's win in 2004, I lost all faith in the justice system and the political process. So much so that I was completely dumbfounded when Obama won and had a sense of unreality for hours, starting with his win in Florida on election night.
So yes, earthquake notices do remind me of possible Adams-salvaging travesties yet to come.

I promise, in the future, to park the Hummer without using the Braille system.

Better check the status of the famous leaning tower of Portland in the glamorous SoWhat neighborhood. I hope it slowly sinks into the ground and everyone gets out safely. Once it sinks all the way it can be used as a massive underground parking garage.
