Another big sports night (burp) at PGE Park

An alert reader sends along a photo, taken earlier today, of the star of Portland Timbers soccer arriving at the stadium for tonight's game:

It's also a good look at one of the area's bio-science jobs.

Everyone will be at the Recall Adams rally at Nick's Famous Coney Island. Someone please get a photo of attendance.

Adams could offer Dan Tilkin of KATU a staff position as Planning and Bioscience advisor to get him off his back...

At first I thought you were talking about the sculpture, ironically named "Facing the Crowd."

Granted, they are a loud, proud and thirsty crowd.

Though made in a tongue-in-cheek style, this point works against your working thesis that the Timbers will be a money losing venture for Paulson and the city. The more concessions consumed the better, right?

And I notice a distinct lack of Timbers attendance picks. Haven't we learned the dangers of cherry-picking intelligence reports by now?

I don't get it.

Game was fun though - won on a PK in the 90th minute!

That thing is about the ugliest sculpture I've ever seen.
