Yeah, that was always a concern with Hanford and a big reason why many of the more educated folks in the country don't trust the government.
I'm more concerned that the pressure is building and seemingly causing more and more quakes. I guess I'll make an effort to lay in some supplies, just in case it all gets a bit "wobbly" around here like has been predicted for years.
Living in any region of the world prone to extreme natural disasters, you should have some supplies, anyway, just as a matter of course. Good on you, as the Aussies say.
Minimum one month's canned food per person, durable truck with full tank, sleeping bags, iodine for water, good boots, tool kit, a little camping gear, axe for firewood, first aid kit, that kind of thing.
If you are a cognizant of the long, long history of urban hominid behavior during crises, you might want to add some basic self-defense tools to that list. If nothing else, you can take deer with them...
