Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind

A reader sent us an image file yesterday that brought back fund memories. Remember when Fireman Randy used to turn in campaign finance reports that were written out by hand? And remember the fall of '03, when he was first running for Portland City Council? Man, that report was full of gifts from all the usual developer suspects.

Including this one:

Lord, I must be older than I thought. It took a minute, but I 'get' that song reference now. Haven't heard THAT one in a while, which is fitting. It'll be in my head all day now, thanks Jack!

Hey, look on the bright side. This is a full employment program for media types. Also the national and international media will be arriving any day now, and their spending locally will be worth at least as much as a couple of feature films before it is over.
