Obama supporters: Don't get cocky!
Sure, things are looking pretty good, but if you allow yourselves to become overconfident, the disaster could still easily happen. The best thing to do is to treat the race as if it's still a tossup, remembering that every vote is important. Here's a former Portlander who tells it like it is.

I have been telling people that this is going to be another razor close election. They look at me like I am nuts! I hope a clear winner is declared before January.

I agree that this isn’t in the bag by far and that this election is incredibly important.
I wish the public knew more of Palin's crazy secessionist ties. There is a video on the net where the VP of the Alaskan Independence Party talks about Palin having been a member. The same guy calls U.S. forces in Alaska “occupation forces”.

Who's taking this race lightly. I don't know of anyone who is getting nonchalant about Obama winning it. I'm still praying for McCain to to a John Bellushi-style meltdown in the next debate.
