And after all we're only ordinary men

R.I.P. Richard Wright

Oh, my God! I'm glad he got to do David Gilmore's "On An Island" project the last couple of years. It's a great DVD to have been left with. How sad. He was a true George Harrison type of greatness--quietly contributing that little bit of seasoning that makes the whole recipe work.

God Bless...

Maybe this sad news and the strange orange glow in the sky witnessed this afternoon are related.

What a band...what a sound. Your music influenced many of us. Shine on, you crazy diamond...

R.I.P., Richard........

I think "Us and Them" is still my favorite Pink Floyd song. A true masterpiece and perhaps Wright's greatest contribution.

"Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict" brings back fond memories of high school, the beach, and four friends playing hooky. Unforgettable.
