Used to see some comments from Randy Leonard on here...hmmm...Jack your the webmaster.
Maybe you've got some leverage now...I mean, besides public opinion.
As an elected official, it's appropriate for Randy Leonard to comment on blogs: it's part of communicating with constituents. But that's very different than what the person in the article was doing online.
I e mailed the fire chief to complain about TorridJoe's incessant posting on the public dime. He referred me to some guy in the IT department. He claimed that Torrid wasn't posting on city time, but that he had some sort of automated system that put posts he had prepared in the evening up during the day.

I have been thinking that they get paid to defend the city's silly policies here.
Then there are the ones that appear to work for the streetcar and condo lobbys.
