Don't be ovarily concerned
It's almost that time of year -- Portland will probably be turning on the underground pumps soon and adding well water to the Bull Run reservoir water flowing through our taps. And now, in addition to getting free Tylenol when you drink it, you get birth control, too!
But only in small amounts. "It's like a grain of sand in an Olympic swimming pool!" It can't hurt you. Really.

Its long past time to build that new dam at Bull Run. It is sheer folly to spend billions on toy trains that have no useful transport function, while we can't spend 1/10 that amount to obtain safe, secure, plentiful water.
Thanks

So is the testing done upstream or downstream of those open topped reservoirs? Just wondering.

It's all about pissing matches in Portland, isn't it?

Can we assume that as most other municipal water supplies they add chlorine with an ammonia back to insure a good bacteria kill to your tap?
Bottoms up!
