Yuppie shotgun shack
Come on in and take a look around. Watch your elbows.
All that's missing is Fireman Randy standing out front handing you the keys.

Thanks a lot, Jack. I just blew hot coffee out my nose!

The city prefers to build affordable apartments in SoWa for $1/2 million each.

Check out these plans at http://www.livingsmartpdx.com/home/vargas.asp
9' bedrooms?? Really? That's ONE FOOT larger than my cubicle! (granted, I have a large cubicle, but still...)

There are plenty of these row houses in my neighborhood near U.P. They generally sit on half a lot, which probably used to be the yard of the neighbor next door. They're tall and spindly and stick out like a sore thumb.
What confuses me, though, is why someone would build a brand new home with tiny bedrooms and zero wiggle room, when the entire neighborhood is filled with much more charming, old-Portland style houses with those same features!

To an odd person, I suspect.

It's easy to have dirt floors...just don't vacuum and sweep. What's funny about last Sunday's O' article about the "green" house is they did the story on something that doesn't look like its even a tenth of the way done and mostly speculation about the end product. I guess outhouses are the next big thing to return to vogue. Should make the neighbors real happy.

Some very good camera work and nice music but I still rotflmao. They could make a tent camper look like an Arab sheiks.

Not to sound elitist, but that buyer got ripped off...

Uh, it's about $150,000 cheaper? Just a guess.

I think I saw the neighbors foot in the bathroom. Sen. Craig would like this house.

Oh, I dunno...it doesn't look good for those with a "wide stance."
