Janet Reno Dance Party version 2.0.1

Greg Macpherson's TV ads have hit the airwaves. His handlers must have told him he's losing with the kids, because they're definitely going for the hip thing:

I dunno. Greg's a buttoned-down pension lawyer, and a darn good one. This seems awfully out of character. But hey, I guess politics makes you do funny things sometimes.

Nice production.

It's a shame that spoofing "I'm a PC/I'm a Mac" jumped the shark a little while back, but what're'ya'gonna'do?

Seems like hes trying to capture the Novick Magic, and failed. He looks awkward to me.

So, who are you going to vote for Jack? You usually tell us. And you probably have some pretty good insights on this one. C'mon, don't deprive of us of your expertise. Inquiring minds want to know.

Oh Man! The great hair looks awful. Will someone get the stylist on stage.

Well I was leaning towards "Mac" because I really liked Measure 49, but that ad definitely makes me look more favorably at Kroger -- "I passed Measure 49" --- excuse me? I seem to recall that the voters did. And fairness would require putting what Kroger has done (law prof) in his response. If this is Mac's idea of a fair piece, I don't want him deciding how to bring charges against people.

That and the "What OREGON experience does he have?" stuff in his other ads drives me crazy, which no doubt has something to do with that I'm not a native (like plenty of other people). OK, Kroger hasn't served in the Oregon Legislature, we get it. He's got a lotta experience doing what AGs do though.

Maybe he meant he swallowed it and digested it. Man, that's some GI tract. Imagine how tough he'd be in office!

Well, he knows how to say it correctly. With this native, that counts for something.

Boy, these ads are getting goofy.

Even as a Mac user, those ads pissed me off. Pretentious much?

Ew. Just another reason to vote Kroger.

Kroger's lack of experience in the Oregon favor trading culture is one of the BEST reasons to vote for him. He can objectively look at high level crime here.

Thanks Mac.

Why does this ad drive me crazy?

Macpherson is obviously out of his element - reading from a poorly placed script.

He's trying waaaay too hard to make something out of someone else's idea.

And most importantly, he's taking video of his opponent out of context to make his point.

Score: Kroger 3, Mac 0
