Hey hey, gonna be a showdown

Oregon AG wannabes in a stone mud fight! Kroger vs. Macpherson, head to head tomorrow morning at 9 on OPB. They're soliciting your questions and comments for the candidates here. I suppose you could also say something to or about them in comments to this post; presumably, the show's producers will read it.

Are they going to replay it? Who the heck schedules a debate at 9AM?

Guess I'm going to have to break out the VCR, plug it back in, find a tape, and figure out how to program the damned thing again.

I think it's radio, not TV!

It is Think Out Loud, so it is radio.

MarkDaMan,

No need to record it. They post MP3s of previous shows on their web site:

sweet, thanks Rulial!

Thank God I haven't started messing with that dusty old VCR.

I do know how to download MP3!

I would like to know how each candidate will approach the Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) projects currently under consideration in Oregon. Both candidates have touted endorsements from environmental groups and the LNG projects have emerged as a major environmental issue during this election cycle. I know Kroger is opposed to the projects, but does anybody know if Macpherson has taken a position?

About the only relevance of the attorney general to natural gas is the candidates' personal production of it.

The AG is involved in the LNG, in so much as they have the power to go after some of the more questionable legal procedures that have been used to try and clear the way for building the LNG projects.
