Mine was quite nice. Easter services at a Presbyterian church on St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans on a sunny 75 degree day before a traditional Easter dinner with ham, potato salad, mac and cheese and strawberry shortcake for dessert.
The only drawback is all the pollen in the air compared to Portland. It's really kicked up my allergies and I have been popping Claritin like candy all weekend.
The Mrs. got a very nasty bug, so we didn't make it to church, and I made her stay in bed. We spent Easter watching March Madness, drinking lots of liquids, and cursing the cold and flu season. . .
My Easter was one to remember. I reconciled with a daughter in law with whom I'd been on the outs for the last three years. Got to hold my six month old granddaughter for the first time. In the short span of three hours, many old wounds were healed, rifts closed and our family came back together.
We had a big family dinner on saturday afternoon; with a Easter egg hunt for the three grandkids under 10 years old. Everybody had a great time. Got to watch a lot of West Virginia beating Duke. Too bad sunday was such a miserable day after a decent saturday. My brother called me from Reno late on sunday afternoon telling me it was 70 and they had taken the dog for a walk and he was wearing shorts. Will be glad to retire in 23 months to the Southwest.

I had a dog like that once. Always wearing shorts, sometimes a bandanna. My girlfriend thought it was cute to dress him up. I thought it was humiliating for any self respecting dog. Needless to say, we did not last very long.
