Waste of a stamp
Here's a wild story from our neighbors to the north.
Which reminds me -- it's time to re-register as a Democrat, because for several offices in these parts, this time around the general election won't matter a bit.
UPDATE, 11:10 p.m.: Meanwhile, back at the Washington caucuses...

For the life of me, I can't figure out how things work up here. I've got an unopened ballot sitting at home, but it's evidently meaningless as Democratic delegates were chosen at the caucus yesterday. BUT I can identify as a Republican on my ballot and vote for Ron Paul. At least I believe I can. And that may not matter since it looks like the party is cooking the books for McCain anyway.
If the Republican caucus results stand as-is, I don't want to hear another peep out of anyone about the Gregoire-Rossi election results.

Its going to be fun to vote for Vickie Walker in the Sec State primary, more fun to vote against Macpherson in the AG race, and delightful to give Westlund the comeuppance he so richly deserves in the State Treasurer race.

Well it works like this. The State decided to have a Presidential primary but the Democrats decided to choose their delgates through a series of caucuses. At my democratic caucas the Clinton representatives were no where to be seen but the Obama people were out in force. Since no one else wanted the job I agreed to be my precincts Clinton representative to the Clark County caucas to be held in April. Then if no one wants the County job I would go on to the State caucas to be held in May. Oh boy isn't democracy wonderful.
The Republicans decided since the State was going to the trouble of having a primary it ought to count for something so they are picking 1/2 of their delegates through the primary and 1/2 through the caucas.
