Portland transportation tax may be dead

So says the O this evening.

Wonderful, I guess we wait until after the election to get dinged.

I think the Council agenda not mentioning Sam's tax is a ploy to have Romain be lax and perform another end-around.

I recently did my own polling. All twelve families even along a street that is full of potholes, no curbs, no drainage said they would vote against Sam the Tram's road tax that is really a bike, mass transit tax. I think Sam did another polling at taxpayer expense to see how this issue destroys his dream of becoming mayor.

Maybe Dozono should inquire how Sam's polling on all his proposals are being used for his candidacy in violation of city and state laws.

Adams, of course, didn't want the street tax on the May ballot. What this tells me is that he is now thinking runoff.
