I thought this was going to be a link to the story of the initiative in California, sponsored by a prominant Republican, that would apportion the state's electoral college votes proportionate to the voting percentages, thereby giving some California electoral votes to the Republican candidate.

Does any state do that now? It sounds like a pretty goofy idea.
