Oregon's Safe Haven law allows a parent with an infant 30 days or younger, with no evidence of abuse, to leave the infant at a birthing center, doctor's office, fire station, hospital, police department or sheriff's office. The parent is not required to provide identification.
I thought someone using this option was supposed to leave the newborn in a prominent location where the baby would be quickly discovered. I don't think the toilet qualifies.

Gee, it only took a week. And maybe she and her lawyer will show up for booking. Some way to treat a murder suspect.
