I thought the Lawrence Welk theme song was "Bubbles in the Wine." Not "Bubbles in the Bong."

Thanks, Jack. Now my ribs are REALLY sore! Actually, the song kind of answers why old Myron Floren was coughing a bit there, huh? What was next week's selection..the Lennon Sisters doing Steppenwolf's "The Pusher?"

So that explains it. I've often wondered why none of the performers on that show ever seem to be able to stop smiling even when singing about dark subjects like heartbreak and regret.
