A teacher/football coach at my high school resigned (and ended up teaching about 35 miles away the next year) for choking out a student. I think that's a sign maybe you should switch careers.
Dude's been watching WAY too much Ultimate Fighting. And from the sounds of it, his mom isn't going to let him tap out during the lawsuit. She sounds like she's looking for blood.
"We just had that big paddle with all the holes drilled through it, wielded by the vice principal."
Yep...we had that paddle too. I never got whacked with it, but the kids that did always came back with a big smile on their face like it was a big joke. The fear of the paddle was much worse than the paddle itself.

I never got to wrestle with any of my teachers. I guess they knew better back in the day.
