The Ringtone Decade

I remember the heyday of Bay Area rock. Santana, Jefferson Airplane, the Dead. Then came a second wave -- Greg Kihn, Huey Lewis, Journey -- that was an echo of past glories, but still quite good.

Nowadays they've entered the Bronze Age down there.

oh man. its so true. It feels unfair to be a young-ish nerd and somehow not be stupidly rich. The "please god just let there be one more bubble" bumper stickers are coming true...

You have to know how to get out at the top, though, and most of these kids won't.
