That's too bad really. The ducks would have been interesting in the "bcs title" game. I doubt Ohio State-Oklahoma will be that great of a game.

Why the schadenfreude?
Just trying to understand where you're coming from.
My heart goes out to that poor kid who came thisclose to acheiving the unthinkable in the little old state of Oregon.
Coming from the roughest of circumstances (grew up in a nasty part of Oakland,lost his mom to cancer and was benched last year) he truly excelled- on the classroom (4.0 GPA) and on the field. His career deserved a better ending.

It's shameful that we Oregonians allowed a student to play in a game when we knew beforehand that he had a possible career ending injury. I know that Dixon wanted to continue playing football, but we knew he shouldn't play.
