If fines double in construction zones, what does that mean when you get pulled over with that much marijuana?

Illegal lane change: $142 dollars.
Excessive speed in a construction zone: $295 dollars.
Watching a state trooper count 24 ounces of pot and 6 plants which he returns to you for your "medical condition": PRICELESS.
Does that mean all the Oregon State Troopers have dashboard scales now?
It sounds like olfactory profiling to me. I can smell a greasy green lawsuit coming.

I know someone who got a ticket for $680 for doing 80mph in that "construction zone" near Aurora. That stretch of I-5 has been posted as a "construction zone" for years, but I have yet to see any construction going on. More like a speed trap.
