Maybe he was entrapped into quitting
I see that Larry Craig's now saying he may not resign after all. "That wasn't a resignation speech I was reading from the other day. That was just a piece of toilet paper that I had picked up."

If there's a God in heaven this guy will stick around. He is comedy gold. Every time he thanked his loyal staff, I was in hysterics.

Maybe if he went on the Senate floor and tapped...nah, nevermind.

Sen. Scumbag needs to decide if he's going to pursue the Big Lie strategy or the Jimmy Swaggert strategy. You can't change horses in the middle of the stream.
Or, as they say in the Men's Room: if you tap your neighbor's shoe more than twice, you're playing with it.

I heard parts of the Roll Call tape on NPR this morning. I have no idea what he's thinking. And more importantly what the Republican party is thinking. Why on earth would they dare put a safe seat in play like this? Folks in Idaho ain't buying the act. The only people defending him are those inside the beltway (perhaps he has dirt on them as well?) and homophobic talk radio wing nuts. How strange.
I thought this Billy Martin guy was supposed to be smart. He's 0-for-2 this summer.

If ever there was a statement with a lack of foundation, there it is. Meanwhile, I had my first post-Craig airport men's room experience yesterday. I felt all tingly.

The upside: I'll bet that Minneapolis men's room is about as popular as denim overalls at a drag queen's costume ball.
