Go home, folks, nothin' to see here
Rush to the scene of a disaster to help out? The powers that be would rather you didn't. Is that because they don't want you to see them screw up?

We have a "U.S. Fire Administrator"? And imagine how many layers of nothings and functionaries are below him.
At some point the people in the Bush bureaucracy who fancy themselves as "good people in government" are going to have to confront the fact that they are not helping and abandon their posts, or people are just going to kill them. Katrina taught people to take things into their own hands and one positive outcome of the forthcoming economic situation will be the reduction in the "buffer class". The only sad thing is, even in getting pushed aside by angry mobs these people like the "U.S. Fire Administrator" will just be fulfilling their role as buffers between citizens and the real power.

EVERY BREATH YOU TAKE
W'll be watchin' you
(every breath you take, every move you make,
every bond you break, every step you take)
W'll be watchin' you
(every single day, every word you say,
every game you play, every night you stay)
W'll be watchin' you
(every move you make, every vow you break,
every smile you fake, every claim you stake)
W'll be watchin' you
(every single day, every word you say,
every game you play, every night you stay)
W'll be watchin' you
