Breakthrough in Old Town
Blogger Larry Norton sees the Portland Police actually stop someone for something at Broadway and Flanders. They made sure to dampen his gratitude with that patented Rose City bluecoat attitude, however.

I thought the Old Town "drug store" was supposed to be an amenity for the Pearlies.

It Is!
Only in Old Town one can buy quick fix of "Black Tar" or Oxy's at 2AM, while you walk back to your Million Dollar loft in the Pearl.
God I love this town!

While I was probably not there, if I'm contacting a suspect of some sort and you walk up on me, I'll probably scowl at you. I appreciate any kudos you want to give out, but I'm usually pretty focused on not getting stuck with a used needle or getting staph infection ooze all over me. But I'm sorry he had a bad experience.

By the way Jack. I use the term, "bluecoat" all the time now when dealing with people. I like the way it rolls off the tongue, plus it has kind of a nostalgic feel to it. I dig it.
