When cops go bad

Here's a disciplinary measure that the Portland Police Bureau ought to try.

They'd have to call out the National Guard to supress the rioting police officers if they tried this in Portland. That would be fun to watch...

I'm not so sure. Would you want to encounter a police or fire / medical responder like this guy after he had just been arm-banded?

I think we use public humiliation far less often than we should, and I'm not quite sure why. It's cheap and much more effective than many of the alternatives.
