Don't forget this one as well, another class act of beverage appreciation. When we wanted to enter another world we would play the old video we had taped, sip some of our homebrew, and watch him sip with the Belgium monks, to the San Francisco yuppies.

Don't tell the anti globalization types this, but he also founded Starbucks, and sold out years ago.

I read your suggestion of a Memorial Peet's in Ashland and am seconding your suggestion (as long as it's not inside a Supermarket). You have an interesting site, too!
