Well, as they say in the sewage treatment biz:

per Hewitt"among my comments to him was the wish that he found more opportunities to engage in long interviews that would allow the American public to see that grasp and that commitment."
of course since this was an 'off the record conversation' and cannot be quoted we simply have to take this flack's word that all is well!

President of the United States has a private meeting at the White House with ten right-wing talk show hosts.
what does "propoganda machine" mean?

Nothing like hosting a bunch of enablers and cheerleaders. Sort of like his worthless "town hall meetings."

Have you folks sent your phone numbers to Hillary, yet?

You talking about Bill Clinton's "Turd Way?"

Like Clinton was always inviting the conservative as well as the liberal media for his interviews. Some bloggers need to be fair in their critiques and review history.

Jack, for finding facts of massmind media LIARS in the surest short search, simple: Media Matters. Notice the quoted scripts get dictated verbatim into parrot-talk comments here.
For the record, (mostly fascist rap sheets): White House soirée, part deux: Beck, Bennett, Ingraham, Medved, and others met with Bush, Media Matters for America, Aug 2, 2007.
Several conservative talk radio show hosts reportedly met with President Bush in September 2006, as Media Matters for America documented [LINKed in original].
Below are examples of some noteworthy comments, previously documented by Media Matters, from several of President Bush's guests: ...
Boo-hoo, local loser LIARS did not make the cut. Let me help: "nappy-headed illegal aliens."

OK I generally support the current admin but its getting very embarrassing.
"confident about the course of the war"
'absolute commitment to doing right by the troops'
"his concern for every lost and wounded soldier"
"Bush's command of the details"
"broad view of the conflict"
Hugh's nose is up so far the colonoscopy canal I must not be hearing him right.
OMG That is just ripe. I hope he wiped off the keyboard after he "wrote" that!

Here's what Lars had to say about his meeting with the Chimp today:

The chimp...
"The chimp" beat the D's like gongs in 2000 and 2004. If a chimp beat them, what does that make the D's?

"...support the current admin but its getting very embarrassing ..."
You are either with them or against them. Judge and DECIDE!, damn it, and bring it on.
Permissive silence is a worse sin than misplaced support for the Evil Office.

...and bring it on.
Hasn't that line been USED already?
"Evil Office" is good, though.
I'd give it NINE on a scale of TEN
...skwatawa
Put the lime in the coconut and (don't) call me in the morning.

In 2000 Bush won by 537 votes in FL. Had he lost any of the States he won that year Gore would have been President.
In 2004 he won by 110,000 votes in Ohio. Had he lost that state he would have lost to Kerry; 110,000 votes out of 108 million cast kept him in office.
Neither of Clinton's wins hinged on how a single state voted.
In 2006 dems retook Congress
That's hardly beating us like gongs.
