I felt it in lair hill. It wasn't much of a trembler here, only a couple shakes. I was all like, "Oh, an earthqua... Hmm, nevermind, I guess." I waited several seconds for confirmation before I remembered that I am a lonely, lonely man. Sigh.
Some time back, I couldn't sleep, so I turned on OPB. There was a special on about the magnitude 9+ earthquake that will likely hit the Pacific Northwest sometime soon, possibly in my lifetime. I didn't get any sleep that night...
Around that time, I decided it might be a real good idea to own a stout Diesel truck, just in case things get ugly here in town.
Totally felt it. I thought that a car had run into our apartment building. My poor bird (Sam E. Bird - a cockatiel) freaked out when it happened. It rocked his cage. That's when I knew it was more than the neighbors fighting.

Might be better to spend the time thinking how best to get out out of there. I definitely wouldn't want to be in one of those buildings when the big one hits. Or, for that matter, on the tram [rim shot].
