Waiting this Presidency out is SO PAINFUL! Every day there is some new thing to add to the list of "what?! why?! how?! and the question of when will it end? Impeachment for "relations with that woman" vs corruption of national trust.....? I'm too old for this, but not so old I no longer care. Too bad the PacNW can't suscede (Sp?) - going to bed now, disgusted.

Apologies for my choice of words. Now people are going to be mistakenly hitting this page after Googling Jocelyn Elders.

kris, perhaps you missed the part in the article mentioning that the Clinton administration exherted influence of their SG as well, trying to prevent the release of a report on needle exchange programs. So just pretend that is what BC was impeached for and you'll feel much better. I promise.

I was shocked, shocked I tell you, to find that the President put political pressure on a political appointee.
Anyone who's too dumb to know how to spell "secede" (or how to easily look it up) is certainly welcome to leave at any time.

The cruel snub of the Special Olympics because of the support it gets from the Kennedy family is really over the top.
It's just evil from "evil doers."

Oh, John "Fair"play... "Anyone who's too dumb to know how to spell "secede" (or how to easily look it up)"
Bullies never play fair.
"is certainly welcome to leave at any time."
And you are not the host of this blog.

Comparing corruption between the Clinton years and the Decider years is like comparing Mt Tabor to Mt Everest. Sure the Clinton Administration had issues, but W has infected every facet of government with a pernicious political cancer.

Todd H.,
You have a VERY limited memory of the Clinton administration. Here's a quick recap:

Let's not evaluate Bush. Let's evaluate the guy who was President before him. Much more important.

Butch,
LMAO. Lists provided on websites like the one you provided are written by narrow minded right wing shills in order to blame Clinton for everything from 9/11, global warming, and your daughter’s stubbed toe. Clinton was far from perfect, but even if I were to take everything at face value (and I certainly do not), I would enthusiastically put Clinton and his administration’s record of misdeeds and otherwise against W’s. Clinton still comes out looking like a saint in comparison. For lack of a better term, W is a cancer and we will be finding new threads of subversion both large and small for years to come. W has put politics above sound science, politics ahead of the rule of law, politics above good economics, and most importantly played politics with the lives of thousands Americans. W makes Carter look like FDR.

apparently, the only way for criticism of Bush to be valid is if the president before him was better than him?
oh, i get it now.
