I wish I were making this up. It looks as though two of the Chimp's best people are going to be held in contempt of Congress. But he doesn't care, because he'll just have Rove order Gonzales to order the U.S. attorney in D.C. not to pursue the charges.
He's doing such a great job, I think they ought to cut our leader some slack.

Can't the next president's DOJ prosecute the contempt charges, prosecute W and everyone around him with war crimes, enslave republicans in the tunnels under Portland, waterboard Cheney, etc.?

It'll happen too. Dubya's dad did that in order to bury any chance that the Iran/Contra investigation could continue.

I'm alway amused by the pre-emptive language usually employed by these pardons - "crimes he/she committed, or may have committed....
