A couple of weeks ago, my boyfriend and I were walking past PGE Park when the official Rose Parade Tour Bus pulled up. A man standing next to us said excitedly to his friend (in a sort of hick sounding voice), "Hey! It's the Rose Festival Chicks! They're on the f***ing bus!"
I love Rose Festival Time.

He's definitely saying "'Scuse me while I kiss this guy," pointing over to Noel Redding, the bass player. Either that was the lyric all along, or Jimi already had gotten the joke.

I'm sure nobody there had ever seen anything like it before. The guy's playing his backwards-strung guitar with his teeth! "Downtown" and "Ferry 'Cross the Mersey" it isn't.
