If Obama is elected President, maybe the transition won't be so abrupt after all.

"There are going to be times when I get tired," he said. "There are going to be times when I get weary. There are going to be times when I make mistakes."
Oh great. What if he's "tired an weary" in the Oval office?
"Whoops! Didn't mean to launch those nukes...I'm tired and weary ..."
I'm with Chris -- I don't think we can afford to vote for a guy who gets tired and can make mistakes. That's why I'm voting for Romney, who (so I've heard) is a robot.
Whatever became of the Republican party of ideas and the future? Why in the heck would they want to re-run the 1996 election? I ask this in all seriousness.
I don't know about Thompson (nobody seems to, yet) but Gingrich has plenty of ideas - and they're not recycled from '96. He's been very active, prolific and (eeks!) bipartisan since leaving the House. He's both more pragmatic and intelligent than his detractors would have you believe. If you can get past the cynical, simplistic, name-calling that passes for criticism, you'll find him vibrant, involved, realistic, non-dogmatic and tireless.

Or what if he starts a pointless, stupid war?

Run Fred run!
Man, for a party that claims to hate Hollywood, the GOP sure loves to elect whatever hack C-list actor comes running their way.

Well-reasoned analysis, there, Dave. Who's on your A-list - Alec Baldwin?

Of course, he's still Newt - but check him out.

Newt vs. Hillary. How very, very tired.

Obama is a pinhead, but so are all the goofs running on either ticket. Sigh, four more years of yawn.
