At least he knows his side of the horse.

You mean that statue of the President?

Zing!

Heh.

He certainly took one for the team in the last election. He deserves another run.

He paid $400 for THAT haircut?

Nice of him to sign on with MoveOn.org though. Pretty much guarantees he wont get elected.

Is it just me or is he being frog marched to the meeting?

I'm curious how many thousands of gallons of jet fuel he's burning flying between his little junkets.

Seems conservation is best left to the proletariat.

"curious how many thousands of gallons of jet fuel he's burning"

He also buying tax credits to help offset fuel consumption.

He also buying tax credits to help offset fuel consumption.

More proof the rich think they can buy themselves out of anything. And he's supposed to be for the "little guy"?

Right.

He actually is for the little guy. That doesn't necessarily mean he is one. If you want a little guy who isn't for the little guy, we have one of those now. And as for the flying around, how is he suppsoed to campaign? That's how it's done. It's tiny compared, for example, to a Bush weekend in Texas. Let's try for a little honesty and objectivity or, failing that, at least a smidgen of intelligence here.

"And as for the flying around, how is he suppsoed to campaign?"

Can he not fly commercial? Can he not practice what he preaches?

Edwards also avoided how he holds himself to one standard but wants to hold businesses to another. As anchor Miles O’Brien put it: “One of the keys to your plan is the so-called cap plan which would institute, as it suggests, caps on the amount of carbon dioxide industry can put into the environment.”

But when it comes to Edwards’ own life, he doesn’t cap his carbon efforts, preferring instead carbon offsets. “We have committed to operate this house in a carbon-neutral way, which means in addition to using energy saving devices in the house itself, to the extent that doesn’t cover it, we’re going to purchase carbon credits on the market,” said Edwards."

Carbon offsets? What kind of crock is that?
