Morning has broken

Every once in a while, I get not just a good night's sleep, but a Rip Van Winkle session that runs 12 hours or more. The dreams roll on, and in them I usually wind up in some foreign land. This morning I was in Europe somewhere with the family, about to leave for Germany from some other country. Waking up and getting ready to leave the hotel. The Mrs. had us all packed already. The hotel did not have wireless...

Anyway, the reality is, the only place I'm going today is Costco.

When I was kid, I remember having an incredibly vivid dream about waking up and heading off with my family to the airport for a trip to Disneyland. Then I actually woke up and found my father in the kitchen preparing breakfast. I asked him, "Dad, are we going to Disneyland?" His response: "Nope, it's the middle of February. Hurry up. You're running late for school."

I hate those kinda dreams. I always have them on weekdays in the middle of winter.

What time? :)

He he. I got out there bright and early for a change. Even filled up the tank on the van. Winds up four bucks a tank cheaper than anywhere else.

Capitalist.

After the canola mandate kicks in, I'll have to drive down to the one in Tigard.

Imperialist.

Tigard Costco des not have gas pumps.

Yet.

But I hear Tigard has its own gas tax.

I might have to go all the way to the one in Vancouver.

Randy: Capitalist.

Which is it?

Come on, John. Lighten up.

Tigard Costco doesn't have gas pumps-but the one off I-5 near Wilsonville does...kinda a loooong ride for $4 savings.
