And now, your moment of WTF
If you don't think Portland's efforts to quell gang violence are seriously screwed up, can you tell me what this is all about?

Maybe these are going to be our law enforcement officers in the future. Before the do-gooders took over these bums would put doing hard time cleaning up graffiti or not eating.

Calling all taggers. Go to www.tagdis.com. Do a full screen tag, or tag the various targets provided on the template. Express your frustrations, display your tagging skilz. Isn't it time taggers updated their gig, without destroying anything?
C'mon all you gang bangers, create your own site and mess it up. Trust me there would be plenty of public exposure, but no jail time. Is that just too safe? Not edgy enough? Sheeesh.

Lovely. So P-town is allowing felons to be gang outreach workers. I guess on the one hand, it's good to have people who have "been there, done that" to tell kids to stay on the straight path. On the other, you wonder where is the common sense in letting felons work with kids...

In Portland, you can have any kind of sense you want - so long as it isn't "common".

"I was appalled that they would come after the church, a house of worship," Mayfield said. "Hopefully, they throw a felony at them to wake them up."
No doubt. And tagging "187" on a church sounds like a hate crime to me. It would be if it was directed at any minority group.
